Myeloproliferative disorders (MPD)

• Neoplastic Blasts mature along one or more cell lines. (increased mature cells). Includes CML

Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS)

• Blasts mature in dysplastic way: destruction in marrow → increased abnormal cells in marrow but pancytopenia in blood
