50% cases have ectopic gastric/pancreatic tissue, which can even have peptic ulcers

Clinical Presentation

• in 74%, just a diverticulum (symptomless)
• low GI bleeding
  • hematochezia, tarry stools, currant jelly
• RLQ pain
• Nausea/vomiting
• Ulcer
• Infection
• torsion
