Demographic

• Females
• 20-40 years

Aetiology

• TSH receptor stimulating Ig. TSI / LATS. (mix of Ab*)

Clinical Features

• Triad of clinical features:
  • Hyperthyroidism, vascular enlarged thyroid.
  • Infiltrative ophathalmopathy - exopthalmos
  • Dermatopathy, Pretibial myxedema (minority)

Investigations

• TSH decreased
• T4 increased
• T3 increased or normal

Gross

• soft, smooth, red, Hyperaemic, enlarged gland
