Clinical Features
- pain and instability with activity
- may have Hx dislocation or chronic glenohumeral capsule stretching
- episodes of “dead arm”
- normal bone and soft tissue contours
- full or excessive ROM both active and passive
- positive apprehension/relocation test (external rotation → discomfort/apprehension when unsupported, but lessened when supported)
Investigations
- Xray for hill-sachs or bankart lesion
Management
- stability strength program
- surgery
