General Inspection

• Body habitus, diagnostic facies, stature, muscle bulk, hair distribution, weight, body fat distribution, obesity, hyper/hypopigmentation, affect.

Vitals

• Heart Rate: tachycardia/bradycardia
• Respiratory Rate: likely normal
• Blood Pressure: postural variation
• Temperature: fever (secondary infection)
• BMI: likely elevated
• BSL: likely elevated

Skin

• Sweaty or greasy (hyperthyroidism)
• dry (hypothyroidism)
• hyperpigmented (Addison’s, Cushings, Acromegally)
• Depigmentation (hypopituitarism)
