Etiology:

• Injury, foreign matter stuck under eyelid
• Entropion
• Prolonged contact lenses wear
• Chlamydia trachomatis
• UV light
• Thermal burns (cigarettes, matches)
• Dry eyes (Sjogren's syndrome)

Clinical Features:

• Foreign body sensation in the eye
• Eye pain, eye watering (epiphora)
• Blurred vision
• Photophobia
• Red eyes
