• Ondansetron 4-8mg PO/IV TDS with maximum dose 24mg in 24hrs. Be aware that Ondansetron can cause constipation/slow gut transit
• Metoclopramide 10mg 8hrly. Caution in patients who are younger than 20 years (due to acute dystonic effects), Parkinson’s patients and those with bowel issues (increases bowel motility)
• Prochlorperazine – avoid in patients with Parkinson’s
